I received my Sense on Mother's day. Seemed to work ok until August, then got the charging issue, then went dead. Notified customer service, they sent me a new one. This week - same problem! Sending me another. I asked if it had something to do with the charging cable - but didn't get an answer to that. I just read someone bought another cable off Amazon and hasn't had charging problems. I'm not happy with this Fitbit at all!

Hi everyone, if the Fitbit is not charging it becomes dead and unresponsive because the battery is flat.
The most common fault that has been reported is the charge cable. You can try a different brand
If the battery doesn't last the 6 days, disable the SpO2, by removing the SpO2 tracker app and any SpO2 clock face, get a separate SpO2 Bluetooth device which works way better, and disable snore detection. This will give you the 6+ days battery if you aren't using GPS.

I agree, @Rhall, I think it has something to do with the charger itself and not the device. Having the same issue happen twice on two different devices seems a bit odd to me. Have you contacted Support and asked them to investigate what might be going on with the charger?

I Seriously regret buying the Sense. Bought in August already failed. I track heart rate with a polar chest band and the sense is always off 10-30 points! And not consistent enough to do the math (ie. whatever the Sense number is, add 15 pts) when I don't have the polar HRM on. Makes me question the accuracy of sleep monitoring and other measurements. Now I have to send it back for a replacement and wait 10 days for the whole process to get a replacement.

Yes I mentioned it on the last interaction with the online chat. Well I just received my replacement and it won't charge so it has to be the charging cable. So I potentially have three Sense's that could work if it turns out to be the cable.

Now I get to send the replacement back and the cable on my dime. Not impressed at all. I really just want my money back for the whole thing. It has only worked correctly for 3 months total before problems started.

Why couldn't the cable be replaced instead of the watch?

That's what I thought would happen - they would just send me another cable. But the rep said I have to send back the last replacement and the cable I have.

Don't know if any of this gets thru to Fitbit. Had a Versa 2 for 2 years with no problems, but I finally wore out the side button. So bought a Sense from Amazon. Battery life isn't any where near the 6 days advertised -- in fact, if you want 6 days of battery, leave the watch in the box, it'll probably last. Figured I got a defective, so Amazon replaced it the next day. Talked to Fitbit support and they said, "oh well, if you wear it at night (which is why I got it) or open the app on your phone, or check various monitors like steps, exercise, etc. the battery gets used up." In other words, if you use it, the battery doesn't last.

Ok now that I'm looking at the charger, one of the prongs is flat and not up. I'm going to see if I can get it unstuck otherwise I will order a replacement. The one you indicated isn't available to me until Dec 3rd, I'm looking at others I can get on Amazon and they look like the prongs are not longer and about the same as the Sense one. I will let you know what happens!

Well two cheap cords bought off Amazon for the win. Started charging right away.
