For my Fitbit Sense I use the Fitbit app on an Android 9 phone. Now Google Play won't let me update the app. Does it depend on whether I should have at least Android 10? And if I don't have Android 10 and can't update the app, will I still be able to switch to managing my smartwatch from my Fitbit account to my Google account?

Hi @svit the Android app will still work, but without the latest features. I just upgraded to an Android 14 phone from my Android 9 and the two apps look completely different. You can only get the latest app for your phone, no matter what operating system it has. Your Fitbit account being able to switch over to Google has nothing to do with what version of Android you have.

@Odyssey13 Thank you for your help and message.
@svit , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message. Just jumped in, to add some more info.
The latest Fitbit app (4.15) is the first one needing at least Android 10 for it to work. Depending on your phone you'll be able to download the latest app version supported by your operating system. Meaning. if your phone uses Android 9 you'll only be able to download the 4.14 version of the Fitbit app.
