On-wrist calls aren't working on my Sense

My Sense is connected to my iPhone and updates the app on the phone with no issues.  I tried to pair my phone and Sense so I can answer calls and I keep getting an error message that states "Pairing Unsuccessful.  iPhone can no longer connect to '####-####'.  Forget this device and pair it again."  My only option is to forget the device, which I do.  When I try to pair again, I keep getting the same message.   Yes, I have the Sense Controls set up to pair and set them right beside each other to no avail.  Any ideas?

Hi @DawnieBB - just to be sure, did you follow the setup of on wrist calls in the Fitbit App after a successful sync and having removed Sense Controls from the phone's Bluetooth so it can make a fresh versionabd and turn on on wrist calls in watch Settings.

You should be able to edit Sense Controls in the phone's Bluetooth to allow calls, and the setup should guide you.

Note: Sense Controls are normally in a disconnected state until there is an actual call but will briefly show connected during the setup.

Hi there, @DawnieBB. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the on-wrist calls are still not working on your Sense. We're here to help you!

As a first approach, please keep in mind what @Guy_ has mentioned as Sense Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect.

In addition to what you've tried, please try the following:

If you continue having issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. On the phone, turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  2. Restart the Fitbit device once gain. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Remove Sense Controls from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.
  4. Set up on-wrist calls again. For instructions, see How do I set up on-wrist calls on my Fitbit device?
