Hi, I'm about to buy a fitness watch and the Fitbit sense is very popular so far. Only one topic keeps me from buying, to which I find almost nothing - a simple outdoor/offroad navigation feature.
The routing instructions from Google Maps work, I already know, but athletes (especially trail runners, mountainbike riders, etc.) can of course do very little with Google Maps. That's not what Gmaps is made for. There does not seem to be any support for Komoot.
how do you do that... At least those who like to discover (off-road) new tracks. Upload GPX would be ok, for example.

@sbeee you find nothing about it because Fitbit doesn't support it. There is no in-watch navigation on any Fitbit device. For that feature, you need look for other brands.
How do I do navigation? I use different watch which support all you have mentioned - routes from Strava, Komoot or own editor, turn-by-turn navigation, different map types (for hiking, cycling etc.) and you can upload more maps (when I went to Oman for holiday I added map of Muscat so could go for morning run following designed route). I don't think in-watch navigation is anywhere the top of Fitbit roadmap for new features. And to be honest, users very rarely expressed need of having it (although sometimes I think users just don't know what's possible on wearable device).
