Paid 2 years warranty and when I claim I am asked to pay extra $35

I purchased my Fitbit sense in may 2021 and Paid 2 years warranty. My band broke and  when I claim I am asked to pay extra $35. What utter nonsense is this? The warrant was close to $80. How come this doesn't cover for my band and you guys ask me to pay #35 where in the price of a new replacement band itself is less than this? I have been buying Fitbit all these years. Not anymore!

Hi @Vshar  the extended warranty company is not Fitbit. For most it's been Square Trade (now Allstate) and they have a replacement fee of $35. It's still a good deal to get a new device for $35. You might want to look at your extended protection policy to be sure.

Not sure about this, but I think that if you paid extra for warrant extension, it was not actually from Fitbit but from some third-party company that may have some base payment agreement.  I have never known Fitbit to charge for warranty service.

In any case, for a band, personally I would always just get a third-party band, or set of different colors, from Amazon for minimal price and get much more quickly than dealing with warranty process.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
