Pairing Sense with a Pixel 8 Pro

I recently upgraded my phone to a Pixel 8 Pro. I am having a hard time pairing my Sense with it. Everything syncs (steps, sleep, weight, etc.) but I cannot get my emails or texts on my Sense. I have tried unpairing, rebooting, etc., Any other ideas?

Hum went from a Pixel 2XL to Pixel 8 Pro, and had no issues, but I used the old version of the Fitbit app on launch day. Have upgraded to newer app and newer android versions Jan 05th build and it does have issues every once in a while shutdown Sense from settings on watch then power back on so far has fixed the issues. Seems the Bluetooth stack on the Sense crashes every once in a while. So at least I can say it works for me but YMMV. Texting/emails/and phone calls all currently work. But the newer Android 14 does seem to run amock of the Sense Bluetooth stack.

Fitbit Ionic 72.1.15 (recalled), Fitbit Sense 128.6.17 and Pixel Watch 2 BP1A.250305.019.W3, March 2025.

It's not your phone, it's the FitBit v4 app. The new app has lots of issues. Have you verified that text and email options are enabled and turned on in the app within your watch settings? There is a spot in the app to enable texts, email, calendar events, etc.
