Pairing and Spotify

As I understand it, the Fitbit sense ca. be paired with the light phone 2, given the Bluetooth capabilities of the phone. However, the light phone does not support the Spotify app. Would I still be able to run Spotify on the Fitbit so long as it was connected to the cellular from my phone (even though the phone itself does not support Spotify)?

Just looked up Light Phone 2 and it doesn't even say if it is Android based.  It needs to be at least Android 8.0 to work at all with Fitbit.

Aside from that, all Fitbit does with Spotify is to control what is playing on Spotify app on phone, so phone has to have Spotify app.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
