I bought my new FitBit Sense a week ago and I also bought the Pendelton watch band. I wear it all day and even to sleep. Ive done a few workouts with it since the new features for the Sense are related to both sleep and workouts.
After 1 week I noticed there it's been fraying in two different places. One at the top where it connects to the Sense and in one of the holes to latch or secure the watch (however I don't use that one)
I contacted support and they told me that I should not be using the band while working out or sleeping.. it's not meant for that. I'm a little disappointed since I paid $500 for a new FitBit to track some cool features and paid $50 for a strap that looks really awesome that I can't wear. Also, no where does it say on the package for either the FitBit Sense or the Pendelton watch band NOT to use it for sleep or workouts. Honestly, I feel that if it frays after 1 week of what I consider regular use, versus me taking it off every time to replace it with the silicon band when I workout or sleep, I think it would have even more damage.
Anyone else having similar issues? It doesn't seem like FitBit wants to help, I had to send them 2 images and they gave me a reference number but told me Tier 2 would need to take a look and assess the damage. However I have not received an email.. nothing

I haven't seen those cloth bands fray this fast, but yes they do get pretty dirty. They are nice but to me not worth the price.

I bought the basic woven band for my Sense and it has started fraying in a corner where it connects to the Sense. The original purple band for my Versa SE lasted waaaaaaay longer than that, even with 24-hour wearing. It got dirty, but it never frayed. The original strap that comes with the watch makes my skin itch, so I prefer a woven band. For the Versa and Versa 2, I had one FitBit band (original purple band) and several cheapo Amazon woven bands. None of them frayed, even with 24/7 wearing. I bought this woven band from FitBit, because there were no Amazon options yet. Now that they are starting to show up, I'll be checking those out.
