My sense stopped receiving phone calls and messages. I uninstalled and reinstalled the ap did not work. Get error message "Cannot connect"

Hi @marylou4032 - try restarting watch, logout of the Fitbit App and restart the phone too, then try again.
Note if you reinstalled the app you will need to setup again, notifications, app notifications and on wrist calls etc.

Please go to your phone's settings, tap Notifications and make sure the Show Previews is set to Always or When Unlocked for Fitbit, Phone, Messages, Calendar, and any other preferred app. Also, check if there is a checkmark below Notifications Center > Alerts.
