Process to move sense from old to new phone

I am planning on getting a new iPhone. I’ll be trading in my existing iPhone. Can someone advise me on the steps to transfer the sense from my old phone to a new phone?  Should I remove the app and disconnect Bluetooth etc prior to turning in the old phone.

Hi @Clove6060  new phone is nice. Switching over is easier than you'd think. Just get the app on your phone, log in with your usual credentials and it should find your Fitbit as usual. These Fitbits actually pair to your email address and not the device you sync to. Be sure you have at least iOS 13 or Android 8 to use the app. Let us know how things work out for you.

The only thing I have to add is if you are keeping the old phone. 

• Through the fitbit app, log out of your account. 
• Remove the tracker from the phones Bluetooth. 

After you log into fitbit on your new phone, 

• Accept all permissions requested 
• Setup notifications. 

Enjoy your upgraded phone.

I went from a Samsung 4 to Samsung 8. It's nearly time for me to get a new phone and I'm seriously looking at the Google Pixel. Takes me a long time to make a decision, but I do tend to keep the phones for a long time.

I’ll most likely do that before I relinquish the phone anyway.

Smart. Same here. Really only reason I want to upgrade is my camera/video shutters and won’t focus. Suspect it is loose.
