I am so frustrated.
I was able to send my last Sense in because somehow the battery just stopped being efficient. It was dying after a day and a half.
I use Fitbit premium and it took nearly a month to receive a replacement. So I wasted a month’s worth of my premium subscription only to receive what almost seems to be a refurbished watch?
Anyway - I was able to successfully get it to connect to my phone, but that didn’t come without a slough of issues. It just sits on the intro screen. Tells me to download the app. I have delete and reinstalled the app. I have restarted the watch. I have restarted my phone. Nothing works. I reached out to the live chat - dead end. Also - the device isn’t even named Sense. It’s Vulcan?
This is so beyond frustrating, I waited so long for a replacement only for it to cause me problems. I hope someone out there has some insight.

I think the word Vulcan is an alias for a Sense Device. Why it shows up as that in your app is beyond me.

I just experienced the same thing. Won’t move past the initial download the app. I’m extremely disappointed after being a Fitbit customer for years I’m actually considering switching to apple or garmin.

Fitbit Sense charger cords are terrible. At least one of the four charger pins wears down and fails to connect to the Fitbit. Call Customer Support to get a new charger cord sent to you. When you get it, plug it in. The Fitbit will charge back up and you can reset it. When the new charger cord also breaks the same way (in about three months), repeat the process.

Hi @Wrongfit the warranty doesn't work like that. The charger comes as part of the Sense package. The warranty period depends on where a person lives. 12 months in the US and 24 months in some European countries. The charger being replaced has only the remaining portion of the original warranty period, so a person can't keep getting it replaced as you suggest. Click to see warranty information.

"Vulcan" is the development code name for the Sense. It's possible you somehow received a development unit that didn't get properly refurbished.
