Resting heart rate suddenly all over the place?

My Sense is going absolutely bonkers right now. I'm sitting on the couch and manually took my HR at 72. Meanwhile, my Sense is up at 132.

Not sure what gives. Any suggestions? I restarted it and still it's going nuts.

Also just compared it to my old Garmin Vivoactive 3 and my fiance's Galaxy Active 2.

Now the Sense is picking up a HR when the watch is off my wrist.

I seem to have similar issue when comparing to other fitbits (though not as extreme, between 5-10 bpm higher)

The odd thing is that up until tonight, the RHR has been pretty accurate. Have no idea what might be going on. Wiped off the sensor, restarted it, still getting weird spikes.

I have like 35 zone minutes from it that the app also isn't allowing me to delete.

Was enjoying the watch up until now.

I experienced similar both at rest and during intense exercise, returned it on Monday for a refund as it’s no use to me like that.

I was interested in the Polar Vantage 2 released today but that seems to have similar issues

Yes today. Around 135 bpm while I was watching tv. Today it was indeed all over the place.  I had it on the table and it was picking up heart rate hahahaha. I was so upset . They promised such a premium product. I am so going to return this tracker no matter what.

My Sense was again, fine all day. Now, 2+ hours after completing a workout and now sitting on the couch, I'm seeing random spikes into the 120s again. Very bizarre.

My 15 days to return it to Best Buy are coming up, so I'll have to make a decision soon. I've loved it so far, but this issue is annoying and should not be happening.

I have a spike when using an electric toothbrush or getting dressed in the morning. It’s goes to 160 and a pulse test tells me it’s ok, only 70 ish
