SUP & Kayak Tracking with GPS

I really feel like I'm missing something here. I am trying to find a way to track my stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking workouts. I can't find anything in the Fitbit app to use that would be suitable.

I am having a hard time believing that there's really no way to track this on Fitbit yet. I am seeing posts dating back to 2018 where people are requesting a way to do this.

I want to be able to not only track my health metrics but also be able to track distance using GPS.

Since Fitbit doesn't seem to think this type of workout is popular enough to add to their app, does anyone know of any third party apps that work for this type of tracking?

I've been using the "run" and "walk"  options so I can track distance using GPS, but that's not nearly the same as paddle boarding or kayaking.

Hi, @sunniedays you definitely can track SUP and Kayaking on the Sense.  Please track using “Outdoor Workout”.   GPS will be activated if you have turned it on in the exercise settings. When your activity has synced to your app it will appear as “outdoor workout” .  Click on that.  On Android click the pencil icon to categorize it to kayak or paddleboarding.  On iOS click “categorize”.  Job done.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

On Sense, you have Outdoor Workout available to track any unsupported outdoor GPS activity. Some of open water sports appeared on Sense 2 and Versa 4 but there are no plans to backport them to older devices.

Thanks, Julie. Yea, I finally came across this using this option after more digging last night. Still don't understand why Fitbit still hasn't added paddle sports as a workout type, but at least there's something that can be used instead.
