After my fitbit died earlier this month,  I swore off any further products.  Today it appears the dreaded update that bricks these things has struck my wife's device.  They should make potential buyers read through the comments before they buy so they can make an informed purchase. We aren't gonna bother troubleshooting what's wrong with hers because the support team appears to be NPC level in their ability to make decisions.  We already know that they don't cover their own errors that they cause in their warranty,  so why bother.  I supposecits probably a good idea to stay away from even the Google specific products too... just in case.

Hi @TimMarks - it could be something simple in both cases, and posting the exact issues might just get you working again.Though it is understandable if you wish to switch to another brand with a longer battery life and more features.
