my sence though time records my sleep erroneously. usually there is no falling asleep phase at the beginning or there is no waking up phase. The curve then begins - later than I've actually fallen asleep - with sleep or simply ends with sleep. the end of sleep is usually recognized correctly, but the beginning of sleep up to 2 to 3 hours later.

I replaced mine under warranty for the same problem.  They sent a replacement without a band that did not work. The promised twice to replace the replacement to the extent of generating tracking numbers but nothing ever arrived and the tracking information says that the packing is 'in-transit'.  The USPS had no record in spite of the tracking.   Since my spouse's watch (Sense) was working and she switched to the Apple watch (sleep data not as good) I haven't been without a working device.
