Sense 2 red infrared light not lighting up on the back of my watch it used to light up before

I noted that I have no sleep monitoring since May 21st.  I also note that the red sensor on the back of my watch no longer shows up.  I have checked settings and permissions and restarted watch and phone but it still does not light up. Yes I have cleaned back of the watch with a soft cloth too.
Does anyone have any bright ideas?

this product was ordered September 2022 so not even a year old.

‘please help

Hi @Barbwire - firstly check in the Fitbit App that you see a working heart rate, if you do then the watch is working.

You may need to logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone and watch again.

There could be an issue with the Fitbit App.

If this doesn't resolve it you can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support and they may take you through a factory reset or replace it.

I have done all your suggestions I do get my heart rate so I know watch is working. It tells me to move and asks me how I am feeling.  There is no red or infrared light on the back of my watch so I am pretty sure the app doesn’t control that. I am on hold with customer support now.

thsnks for your suggestions. Wish me luck.

I called support, the offshore analyst read from a manual and kept checking with others.  He had me do a factory rest on my device and insisted that my problem is fixed.  Guess what, the red and infrared lights still don't light up. My Sp02 is not reading and they told me I have to sleep for 3 hours for red light to come on and it to record, except my logs show valid 1 hour of sleep.  Next suggestion is to get a new one under warranty.
