my sense watch is showing 321 more or less floors a day which is insane... and wayyyyyy off... I have tried to figure out where the altimeter hole is on this watch (doesn't any one have a camera and an arrow to show which hole it is) and how and what to use to clean it instead of a description of its either here or there big or small use water or a brush etc. I would appreciate a clear answer to do this. db

Best Answer@dougieboy I've owned several Fitbit models with altimeters and it is always a small oblong shaped hole. I browsed the Sense manual and couldn't find an image. I believe it is the small hole that is just below the haptic button.
Fitbit's only maintenance advice is what NOT to do. Don't insert anything into the hole. Any advice to use a brush or compressed air in the altimeter hole isn't condoned by Fitbit and can damage the device. Help article You can use a brush to clean the contacts on the Sense and the charger.

Hi @dougieboy - once a watch is showing ridiculous floor counts it indicates a fault with the sensor generally.
As floor counts don't affect any other measurements you can simply ignore it if it's out of warranty as there is no remedy, or send it back for a refurbished one under warranty which means you will be without a watch for some days.
