Sense Always on and running down battery

Since the last update, my Sense “face” is always on to show Time and the four corners with symbols only, not the face I chose. I have to press the side button to see progress. With it constantly on, it runs down the battery.

Try on watch face:

Settings > Display > Always-on display > Off

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
