Hello Everyone,
I got about four months ago Sense from the Ionic recall and did not have too many issues with it. Last week, I looked down while kayaking and it was gone. I know I had it on beforehand because I was texting on it, but I could not believe it could just come off. I visited the community and it looks like this is a known issue with the Sense bands. Has anyone else's Sense slipped off like this?
Part 2-I contacted Fitbit, but they said it did not meet warranty standards, which surprises me, because they have usually been helpful in the past (had a Fitbit for six years.) I am thinking my message did not get through or something. Has this happened to anyone else where they ended up losing their Sense (or another watch) and did you get Fitibit replace it?
Thanks!

I am in a very similar situation. I received the Versa 3 after my Ionic was recalled but the band is the exact same on both watches. I lost my Versa 3 while swimming in the lake. Fitbit refuses to help me and has only offered me a measly 35% discount which works out to the same price at BestBuy when they have their sales.
Fitbit used to have good customer service and used to stand behind their product. Too bad they don't anymore. If fitbit can't make this right I will be moving away from Fitbit permanently.

My thoughts exactly. I turned their attention to this nugget within their warranty: "Fitbit warrants to the original purchaser that your Fitbit-branded device and accessories that are new (the "New Product(s)") shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase"
This band seems like a known "defect in materials and workmanship." And yeah they used to stand by their product. I am not sure if there's new ownership now, but that was one of the best things about Fitbit. If that is gone, then so am I. Thank you for sharing.
