Sense Controls not connecting to Bluetooth on my Iphone

My Sense device will connect to bluetooth on my Iphone 11 but it says the Sense Controls aren't Connected.....What are the Sense Controls and where are they in the settings on the Fitbit app? Anyone else have this issue??  Thanks

I’m having same issue! Had several other Fitbits before the Sense and never had this. Never had separate Bluetooth connections before other than the watch/device. Can’t figure it out & it’s frustrating.

It took me a couple tries to get the sense control to connect fully.  In my android phone BT settings I had to forget the Sense Control device.  It is different than the Sense device.  Then rescan and pair the sence control device again.  FYI if you have lots of devices the list of available devices may be below off screen requiring you to scroll down

Sense Controls will only show as connected in your Bluetooth list whilst in use. Please see info from Fitbit help pages:

 

Note that Sense Controls or Versa 3 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. This feature requires more frequent charging.

Still having the same problem with iphone 12 connected to Sense but not to controls. Watch wont vibrate or ring but when I check, phone calls are received by Sense. Very frustrating

Overall, I think the new Sense is more of a pain than anything.  My husband had a fit when I paid $300 for this thing and I hate to admit, he could be right.  The first one just went nuts one day and Fitbit replaced it for free.  This one is my second one - and they both have the same problem: inconsistency.  Agenda has never worked no matter what.  Sometimes the phone will buzz and show the call on my wrist, usually no.  Emails never show up, I occasionally see a text message.  And for sleep patters again, total inconsistency.  Maybe once a week I see sleep results on the device.  I spend a lot of time on live chat and their major request is to bring the phone back to factory settings, which has yet to solve one problem!

 

I think I'm buying myself an Apple watch for Christmas.  Over-priced, but at least the **ahem** things work when you need them!

There must be a  setting or two on the watch, app, or phone that is not correct. I have the 12 and everything works great!  

if you do not have the manual, I’d go through it or maybe someone else will chime in with a 12.
