Several times each day my Sense disconnects from my phone. When I go to Bluetooth to re-pair it, the watch does not even show until I have scanned and scanned. When I then hit pair, I receive the ridiculous message "app needed to pair" or some nonsense. I then have to go to apps in settings and clear cache & data, log back in to my fitbit app, which then prompts me to pair my Sense. Next I have to go through all of the steps (permissions, notifications, etc.) yet again. It's not worth it to have to do this all dammmmm day. I may as well not have a watch if I have to be on the phone app all day doing software support. Not to mention that the "find my phone" option becomes utterly useless with this issue.
Does anyone else have this issue? I'm about to switch to Apple everything if this continues. They have 911 capability & medical ID as well anyway, which I can't imagine fitbit ever being able to accomplish.

Hi @Raindanse That sounds very annoying. However you should not be trying to pair from your phones bluetooth settings. Fitbits need to pair from the Fitbit app. Go to the fitbit app and select Sync Now on your Sense page. If that doesn't help then try THIS Help Article on syncing problems.

This is not a syncing issue and I AM pairing from the app. When it inevitable "unpairs" I have tried to simply reconnect it in Bluetooth because occasionally that DOES work. I try that first in an attempt to avoid the many steps that I have to go through when that does not work.
It's not a syncing problem. Hitting "sync" does not re-pair the watch. As I said, I have to completely restart and login to the app. When I do that, I am prompted to approve all permissions and settings, etc. I have to do this whole routine every time, multiple times a day. Again, this is in the fitbit app. It will pair with my fitbit after I do this ridiculous process. But I have to do this multiple times a day. Then, when it inevitably happens again, before going through that long and frustrating process, I only then go to my Bluetooth. Lo and behold, the Sense shows in my list of devices that are connected. Yet, it is not. I am not receiving texts or notifications and my Sense shows the "no phone connected" symbol. So I click on it in the Bluetooth settings. And it is not paired. It then moves from connected devices in the Bluetooth list to available devices in the list. So I then hit pair in Bluetooth because the fitbit app is not giving me the option to pair anymore. As I mentioned, this does sometimes work, especially with sense controls.
So...I then have to close fitbit app, clear cache and data, log back into the app and go through the whole thing again.
The problem is not me. It is the watch or the app. They will not remain paired. I should not have to go through a ton of tedious steps 3 or 4 times a day in order for my watch to stay paired. Especially since I do not stray far from my phone.
Also, the ultimate problem isn't even the ridiculously long list of steps I actually have to take to re-pair the watch. It's that I have to pair the watch over and over again, all day, every day. I've chosen to get notifications on the watch, such as texts, so even if simply "syncing" in the app worked, it would defeat the purpose. My Sense should stay connected and be sending me texts, etc. A person should not have to manually sync all day. Since the watch will not remain paired for long, I am not receiving notifications, calls or messages on my watch, as well as having the "find my phone" feature rendered useless. Without these, I could just use the bottom of the line fitbit to count steps. I purchased the Sense so I could have these features.
So the main issue that needs addressing here isn't where I go to pair my watch. That's not the problem. The ultimate problem here is that it will not remain paired.
