Sense ECG reports below 50 bpm?

I like many others with Afib problems take medicine to stabilize my heart rates.  This causes my resting pulse rate to stabilize in the 40 bpm's.  I can not do a normal sinus rhythm report to compare with an Afib report.  Any chance the lower limit to 40 could be firmware updated?

@Schudney   The ECG app is a medically regulated feature.  When Fitbit asked the FDA for approval, it specified those high and low heart rates.  An algorithm is interpreting the results, not a set of trained eyes.  Fitbit would need to provide additional data to the FDA to get those limits changed.  A Feature Suggestion won't help.  You can download and send the actual ECG to your doctor.  Your doctor has a set of trained eyes and can interpret your ECG.

@Gr4ndp4   The ECG app is definitely available in the UK.

Hi, @Schudney, welcome, I must admit I am a complete novice so far as Afib is concerned (and living in the UK which has not yet approved this function) If you want to put forward a suggestion you can do it here, check the suggestions already registered as there may be something you would like to add your voice to.

Cheers

My problem is that I cannot generate an ECG report when below 50bpm.  The Sense comes back with a screen message that my resting heart rate is too low.  When I'm in afib it works just fine.  I thought it might've been a simple firmware change, but I understand the difficulties now. Thanks for the explanation!

@Schudney   I'm surprised that you can't.  I can and I did.  My heart rate was 49 at the time, so it got read as inconclusive.  I exported it by following the steps on the app and saved it.  I even have a printed copy of it.
