Hello @Spo2Qatar

I think the Glance clockface you speak about is this.

Accord the Gallery page I link there is a procedure for setup

Otherwise in the same page you might find some ways to contact him.

I hope this helps.

This *suddenly * stopped working a couple of days ago. The procedure for setup no longer works.

I'm having the same issue, late July 2022. Did fitbit update their app?

The July 22, 2022 update to the Fitbit App has caused the Glance watch face to fail. Fitbit is blocking the ability of the watchface to retrieve data. The developer of Glance has advised that Fitbit has been made aware of the issue, and they will look to fix it in a future update (no time line given). To get Glance operating again, you must downgrade the Fitbit App back to a prior version. There is information on the Glance Group Facebook page on how to do this.

I was able to get my Glance 2.0 clock face working again after the dreaded E500 error by following the reset procedure in this YouTube Video.

I got my Fitbit Sense about 3 weeks ago.  I immediately installed the Glance 2.0 clock face.  It worked well up until about 2 days ago when I got the Stale Data error and then the E500 error.   When I say it work well, I don't mean perfectly.  The data is not always as up-to-date as the phone and sometimes I need to manually sync it to get real-time data.  One frustration I still have is that it doesn't seems to sync when I'm out walking.  I even try to manually sync during my walk but it doesn't work.  As soon as I get home after the walk it starts working again.  I haven't gotten the Stale Data or E500 error since the factory reset described in the video.

To Spo2Qatar:  Did you enter your Dexcom username and password into the Fitbit app Glance 2.0 settings?  You'll get the E500 error if you don't enter them.

To JohnnyTheGavel:  I think the information you posted is not correct.  My experience proves that there's nothing wrong with the current update.  Apparently the problem arises because the installation gets corrupted and needs to be reset/refreshed.

Went for a walk yesterday and the Glance 2.0 clock face worked very well.  Not sure what, if anything, changed.  Glance 2.0 now works great as long as my phone is nearby.  It's great to have that functionality again.  I've only had it for about 3 weeks, but I sure missed it while it was gone for a day or 2.  Has anyone else tried the reset in the video above?

I just set up Glance on my Versa 3 to link with the Dexcom on my phone.  I am only a Dexcom follower, I monitor a child at school.  Would be easier to use the phone app than looking at my phone all the time.  The Glance app is asking for user name and password.  Do I need the main user of the account name and password???

Should be Watch App, not phone app to monitor.

I think you can use the main user name and password.  I think there's a way to set you up as a follower with your own name and password, but I don't think it's necessary.

Note that these Dexcom clock faces are flakey.  I have to reinstall both the Fitbit app and the clock face about twice a week.  I switched to the SENTINEL clock face, but it's also flakey.  But they're so convenient, that I put up with that hassle.  I'm hooked on it.

This is fantastic. Been looking for a fix for this for a couple months now. This worked for me!

It's nice to have those readings back again.
