My Fitbit Sense is not syncing. I have followed all the steps given. After doing a restart, currently the error is Pairing rejected by Sense. Please help.

Hi @Sanjeet11,
I get this message often. I usually restart both the Sense and the phone/tablet/computer I'm using to sync. Usually this error means that the devices are "seeing" each other (meaning they know they're in close proximity to each other) but for some reason aren't "shaking" (connecting). When this happens, usually something in one of the Bluetooths on the devices is not functioning properly (or at all), so by restarting both devices, you're in essence refreshing both connections.

The software seems very flawed. There was an update yesterday that I hoped would sort the issue for me. I updated, but no joy. I had to remove the Sense from the app and re-add it before syncing worked. 2 mins later I tried to sync again and that failed. Then failed again, and again....
It seems users have to sprodaically do a dance of turning off bluetooth, their phones, removing the watch, readding, and hoping all goes well.
If I find a decent sleep tracker that syncs well (I was using iphone but it doesn't give as much data) then I am switching over, unless these issues can be fixed soon.

Thanks. Left to chance completely on when it syncs and when it doesnt.

Got mine syncing yesterday, No longer syncing again today. I read about these woes when I bought mine, but I remember thinking "it can't be that bad"..... 😐

I’ve been using the AutoSleep app and I love it. The fact that I back on this forum is likely to send me back to Apple.

And of COURSE Fitbit won't just admit that their expensive toy is the problem. I have 6 other things synced to my Android, including a CAR, without a problem, but this crappy watch barely functions as advertised. Truly annoying. I lost vital health data after surgery, all because this thing decided it doesn't want to play with something it was fine with a day before. What trash.

I had a similar issue, tried most things mentioned. If I re-booted Sense from menu and forgot device on phone, when restarted and re-connected the app would update. However, using the pull down to force a sync still failed.
The problem was solved by doing a re-boot using the button, holding down for 10 secs. Now the Sense reliably syncs when I use the pull down menu.
Hope this helps.

I'm constantly having sync issues with my Sense and iPhone. I too have several other bluetooth devices that stay connected. I shouldn't have to go through all the troubleshooting exercises to re-sync ever few days.
