Sense Not staying on Wifi to change Clock Face

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I got my Sense almost 3 weeks ago now and I have been unable to get it to connect to my Wifi and stay connected so I can add the SpO2 face to get that metric. It will show up on my Wifi  listings (I can see it connected when I look on my computer) as connected but as soon as I go to "Clock Faces" in the App I get the message "Oops. Looks like there's no Internet connection".  I have had this problem since I got it and I have contacted Fitbit but all I get told is they are "working on it", "Download the update" (I did) or "Cycle your Wifi" (Does nothing) .  Anyone else having this issue?  I have less than a week left to be able to return it and make a different choice. I'm beginning to regret this purchase although I LOVED my Fitbit Charge 2 and had almost no problem with it!

Already addressed this.  That isn't always the fix.  It's a KNOWN issue and Fitbit clearly has no intention on fixing it!

Censored By FitBit!! If you cannot get your device to stay on WIFI-- Return it ASAP.  You can contact me for the reason why!!

The no Internet connection error is saying that the fitbit app on the phone is unable to connect to the okay store server in the cloud. The error displays on the fitbit phone app or does not show on the Sense.

To load a face onto the watch, the fitbit app on the phone connects to the watch through Bluetooth,

The watch will only turn on WiFi while its battery being charged. And at this time tries to connect to WiFi, checks for updates to any installed app and faces, and download any music updates.

As for your WiFi error, I know that I saw a solved thread in the Android forum, but into sure which OS you have.

For SpO2, the SpO2 face, which is not needed for SpO2 recording, the Sense does not need to connect to WiFi.

For the SpO2 recording, you will need to load the SpO2 app onto the Sense.

Gee Thanks RIch.... It's not like you didn't tell me that back in June, July and August and I didn't already try all those suggestions.  I still cannot get the Sp02 feature to work nor the Wifi to consistently connect.  I even stayed in a hotel for 5 days in Aug and it wouldn't stay on. We set up a Special Dumbed down WIFI channel at our home that has only Password protection and it doesn't read the Sp02. I Installed the Sp02 app on my phone.  It's there right now but it doesn't change the fact that I get no readings and Fitbit is aware of the problem but doesn't have any timeline on when it might be fixed.  They strung me along just long enough to be out of the 45 day return window then basically said "too bad, so sad, we got your money and you got screwed!"  From day one they admitted this was a KNOWN problem, but instead of admitting they didn't know how to fix it they led me to believe they were in fact working on it.  I don't believe they are.  I think they are on to the next product and I have an expensive paper weight!

Your fitbit tracker dies not need to connect to WiFi to install a clock face. The tracker will not use WiFi to send it's SpO2 data to your fitbit accoint. .

The WiFi on the tracker will not turn on

Your unknown phone needs to have an Internet connection. The tracker uses biuetooth to spend SpO2 data,

Samsung Galaxy S20 5G FE phone. Connected to the "Dumb" wifi we set up for the fitbit.  At a Location on PUBLIC Wifi I was able to install the Sp02 watch face.  I also was able to install the Sp02 tracker on my fitbit app, however when I go in the Health Metrics tab on the app and scroll down to the Sp02 grid I have the (Useless) screen that asks me to "Wear a special clock face or Sp02 Tracker app to track Sp02 data right from your wrist, and view trends here.
DOWNLOAD CLOCK FACE
DOWNLOAD SP02 TRACKER APP"
So.... Yes You MUST connect to WiFi to Install a clock face.  (I have tried many times to do it with out being connected to wifi and it DOES NOT work that way no matter how many times you repeat that same information!!) I do not know what else to try since my phone is on my wifi unless I'm out of range in which case it is using cell data. (Not that that should be the solution!)
