Ever since I moved to a google account. I am not getting notifications to my Fitbit sense. I have gone through all the below steps from customer help.

1. Force quit the Fitbit app, then reopen it to sync your Fitbit device.
2. On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth.

  • Turn off Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

3. Open the Fitbit app to sync your Fitbit device.
4. Restart your fitbit device again.
5. Open the Fitbit app to sync your Fitbit device.
6. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab  > your profile picture > Notifications.

  • Turn off all notifications.

7. Restart your phone.
8. Open the Fitbit app and turn notifications back on, then sync your Fitbit device.
9. Tell your phone to ""forget"" the Bluetooth connection to your Fitbit device:

  • On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
  • Tap the information icon or gear icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
  • Find the option to forget the device.

10. Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again, then sync your Fitbit device.

After that please, test your notification feature. Ask someone to send you a text message and let us know how it goes. If after have followed all the above steps in order, your Fitbit app is still unable to detect more apps to enable notifications, please reply to this email in order for my team review the the next steps regarding this issue.

Also tried ( from another thread )

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Set up on wrist-call notifications once again.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

STILL not fixed. Please can someone help!!

PS. if you haven’t moved to a google account yet. Don’t. I’ve had nothing but problems since.

It’s a widespread issue that has been happening for a week or so where no-ones watches are syncing or connecting with the app so it may not be moving over your account! But hopefully it works for you soon

Everything else is syncing.
It’s just notifications that aren’t working.
They did until I moved to a google account.
