Sense PIN "Enabled for Fitbit Pay only" is not being honored.

I have enabled the Device Lock for "Fitbit Pay only" (see picture below).  However, it's acting like it's set for "Enabled" instead.  It will randomly, multiple times a day, ask me for the PIN, including when I take it off/put it on.

How can I get it to ONLY request a PIN when I use the Fitbit Pay option?

The original Sense does not really have a side button, it is a little bit touchy, it can trigger a NFC payment, which triggers the PIN. YMMV, but this is normal on my Sense.

Fitbit Ionic 72.1.15 (recalled), Fitbit Sense 128.6.17 and Pixel Watch 2 BW1A.250605.004.

I had an issue where the long press of the side button, which activates Wallet, was going off when I twisted my wrist hard. To check whether that is the issue, unlock the wallet. It will stay unlocked for 24 hours or until you take off your Sense. If you randomly see the card icon instead of the pin pad, then the issue is that the shortcut is getting set off accidentally.

It eventually seemed to stop. Alternatively, change the long press shortcut on the side of the Sense from “Wallet” to something else.
