I noticed on the watch display the left edge was black, but the rest of the screen was displaying normally. This "lack of display" increased slowly over a few days until the entire screen was black. I also noticed that the watch does not vibrate when first attached to the charger, and nothing happens when I press the side button for 10+ seconds. Help!

Hi @MiladyJames - the screen issue could be a clock face problem but it would seem now that the watch is not charged and is not charging also, unless it has become faulty.
First steps is to ensure its clean and there isn't a problem with the charge cable, see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen
If you can get it to charge try changing the clock face from the Fitbit App, Gallery tile.
If it needs further investigation probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly.
Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.
If it is still under warranty, 1 or 2 years depending on country law, and found faulty it may be better to take it to the shop for a refund and new replacement, rather than accepting a refurbished replacement from Fitbit and dealing with sometimes drawn out return and shipping issues that may occur.
