I've found so many (so many) topics on here about inaccurate BPM. The Fitbit staff just brush it off and tell people to make their own topic and that they will "pass it on to the devs". Other people put the person raising the question down as "you're probably not as fit as you think" and that's why the BPM is so high.
We'll I'm actually in shape, workout every single day for 15years+, and I see my BPM just sitting at 140BPM doing nothing for an hour. Take it off and place it on a towel, and well, my towel is in the active zone! Either need a replacement and guarentee that a new watch will work or I'll just go Apple Watch and drop this whole ecosystem finally (I have Versa 2 and the scale also), because this is now just ridiculous. I have factory reset this already too.

@ShaneHenrik , you will get readings from towels, tables, and other surfaces if you place it with the clock face up - and LED lights towards the surface..I have never slept as good as when my Sense was literally split in two halfes. If you place it face down, the misreadings should stop. With that said, I agree there is an issue with your device if it gives you a 140 reading sitting down doing more or less nothing.

I watched your video, which is really shocking. Fitbit has to explain this.

This is hilarious. Fitbit responds nothing to proof of their product being defective.
