Any resolution to the inaccuracies?


If I run on treadmill then watch shows less distance treadmill more

If I walk on treadmill then watch shows more distance less on treadmill mill

You may try to adjust stride length but in general, it isn't possible to achieve 100% accuracy on treadmills due to several reasons:

 

- the distance you see on a treadmill is not always accurate (motor slows down, speeds up while counters just assume constant motion)

- the incline affects distance, the watch doesn't know that

- the motion on a treadmill is slightly different from moving outdoor and it may result in discrepancies

 

On the treadmill, it's better not to focus on numbers but on the level of effort you put into the workout. There are devices increasing the accuracy (foot pods) but no Fitbit supports them.
