I woke up this morning and walked to the dinning room table and synched my Fitbit sense. The app said I had walked over 1800 steps…..the Fitbit showed less than 100….Synching a couple of times still resulted in a difference between the app and the Sense. This is crazy, so many faults and issues since the app upgrade. This isn’t really good enough for a relatively expensive electronic device. It is certainly not doing what it says it is meant to do….incredibly disappointing.
When will these and the many other issues caused by the upgrade be fixed.

Hi there, @Bensearle54. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I appreciate the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your step count between your Sense and Fitbit app. I understand why you're feeling disappointed as getting accurate data is very important to you. I'll do my best to help you to figure out what might have happened.
If you're seeing a huge step count difference between your Sense and Fitbit app (being the Fitbit app with a higher step count), the first thing that came into my mind is MobileTrack. Are you using MobileTrack along with your Sense? If you're, please note low-power step sensors inside your phone track your steps and send the data to the Fitbit app. We recommend using MobileTrack if you forget your Fitbit device at home. For more information, see How do I use Fitbit MobileTrack?
Note that adding more than one Fitbit device to your account gives you the convenience of switching between devices while still seeing a holistic view of your daily activity on your dashboard.
