I am a long time fitbit user. I was looking into getting a Sense but discouraged that you need to get the premium app upgrade to get what I want out of it. Is anyone else in the same boat?

@DORNER My husband wears a Sense and doesn't have premium. I have a Versa 3 and do have premium. So I am very familiar with the differences between premium and non-premium features. Which feature do you want? If you are referring to the Daily Readiness Score, that is a premium feature. It is coming to the Sense, Versa 3, Versa 2, Charge 5, Luxe and Inspire 2. The Snore and Noise Detection is also a premium feature. Other premium features are the same as your current device.

I think that everything that has to do with the function of the watch should be free. I don't mind charging for coaching etc.

Today many any companies do not feel the way you do.

@DORNER Like I wrote in my previous post, my husband wears a Sense and does not have premium. Every watch function works. You never explained what you "want to get out of it." What basic function do you think is behind the paywall? Many users, myself included, feel like paying for the advanced analytics is a rip off. We give our data freely to Fitbit, yet must pay to get it back. This is no different from your current device.
You mentioned moving to Samsung in another forum. I hope you can get your issued clarified here or are satisfied moving to a different device. When you do leave, please be sure to delete your Fitbit account. Users must delete unwanted accounts. Fitbit doesn't delete idle accounts: it continues to count you as a satisfied user.

You have certain functions of health metrics before the paywall, e.g. you cannot see the data for the period longer than last 7 days. For me it is ridiculous. Don't you agree?

@Soyerski123 Yes, I agree with you on this. Users give their data to Fitbit, but have to pay to get it back. This is the Sense Forum and the OP is asking about the Sense. You don't need premium to run an ECG or do an EDA scan on the Sense. All the hardware works.
