Sense and sense controls connected but I continue to get connection lost message on the phone

Sense and sense controls Bluetooth are connected, app is open on the phone , wireless is connected, location always on. Still I cannot use google assistant. I am using an iPhone 12 mini.

I already forgot the Bluetooth device , reinstalled the app.... turned off and on everything, still google assistant is not working. Please advice. I like to get clear instructions and not link to other posts or webpages. Thanks
