Sense batrery drains fast at night

I am currently running the Atlas watch face by Marc Groen and at first I thought it was the cause of my battery drain, but in testing I have found that it is not the issue. My battery drains about 12-15% during the day. That time is from about 4am until about 4pm. From 4pm until about 9pm it drains about 5-8% then from 9pm (when I go to bed) until 4am (when I wake) I lose about 20% battery. It was 30% battery drain in that same sleep time but I turned off the snore report and that seemed to save about 10% during sleep time.

I am using an Android device a Google Pixel 6Pro to be exact. I checked to see if there was additional setting that could be turned off at night but couldn't find any. I'm not connected to WiFi as I thought that would drain battery faster also. I don't receive many notifications at night, so I'm stumped on this one. Short of factory resetting my watch I don't know what else to try.

Hi @HyperThred  - as already stated the snore detection and SpO2 measurements can use as much as 4 of the 6 days alone.

Pay special attention to the SpO2 tracker app.

@HyperThred Night time usage of battery is most likely linked to the O2 sensor which activates when it detects your sleep.

Also to add. Check to see if you have snore/noise detection enabled as this is a massive battery drain (leaves the microphone open all night).

I had similar issue and turned off snore detection which made a big difference in battery performance.

@N8teGee Thank you. I stated in the OP that I turned off snore report and it seemed to save me about 10

@Guy_ I will say that last night I went to bed with. I think about 55% of my battery left and woke up this morning with 49% left so I only had about a 6 or 7% drain last night. I haven't done anything with the SPO2 settings but I have turned off snore report. The first night. It only saved me about 10%, but I honestly believe this is the cause of my major battery drain issues. In all honesty, I went to bed very late last night, close to midnight and woke up and about 5:30 this morning. Morning. So I will have to give it another full night's sleep provided I go to bed on time tonight 🤣🤣 which is typically around 9:00 p.m.. I'll let you all know tomorrow how it goes, but I don't plan on making any changes to anything today. I will look into the SPO2 settings to see if those can be turned off or at least monitored/managed on some level.

Edit: I answered before I clicked on your links. It turns out I did have an SpO2 app installed on my device although I never used it. So it is now uninstalled. I will say that my wife also has the Fitbit Sense and has one of the SpO2 clock faces but doesn't seem to have battery drain which leads me to believe that the snore report was the main cause of battery drain. Why I need a snore report on my watch is beyond me. My wife tells me EVERY time I snore and all she needs to do is sleep to charge her battery!

Thanks again for the inforamation all of you!
