Sense battery is quickly draining

Yes this exact same symptom started happening with my sense as well right after the last firmware update.  I have an Google Pixel Androind Phone so it's not related to the iPhone app issue.

Hi @rvanstone. Welcome to the Community Forums.

I've moved your post to this new thread as there are more chances to get related replies here. Thanks for the details, as well as confirming that you have an Android device. As you may know, the battery life of your Sense will depend on how frequent certain features such as GPS connection, SpO2 tracking, Spotify or Always-On Display are used. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, but just to take them into consideration.

Even though this issue seems to have started after updating the firmware, I'd suggest trying the tips described in this help article to maximize the battery life, fully charge your Sense with the charging cable that came in the box and monitor its behavior in the next days to see how it goes.

Hope this helps.

Good day rvanstone.  I experienced the same issue.  Upon investigating I discovered that the update had wiped out all my settings and that the display was set to "Always On".  I also found several other settings had been changed as well.  I took the time to scroll through "Settings" and set my Fitbit back to where it was.

Hope this helps

You could also try removing the spO2 app (if you don't use it). This was automatically installed in a recent FW update and has quite a high drain on battery.

Thanks all for replying. My battery was draining in 6 hours instead of the usual 6 days and it was not my usage. I got in touch with Fitbit support and they replaced my watch under warranty.  The new one arrived very quickly and with the exact same settings, the battery lasts for 6 days again. I hope this doesn't happen every 6 months 🙂
