After 1.5 years the battery in my first Sense completely died in a dramatic way, even leaving an orange cast on my wrist. Fitbit customer support was fantastic and replaced it. I’ve now been wearing the second Sense for a year and had some kind of battery issue again. While it consistently held a charge for up to a week, it suddenly was draining quickly and dying suddenly. It also stopped tracking my heart rate/sleep. I’ve been in touch with customer support, done a factory reset, but still can’t get the heart rate monitor to work. I’ve been offered a discount coupon to replace it. My concern is, these are expensive trackers to replace every year or so. Before I buy another Sense, I’m wondering if other Sense owners are having these battery issues? Considering switching to an Apple Watch as a result.

Hi @PollyMaly - in both cases it seems it's not a battery problem but one of a damaged watch where moisture gets in and causes excessive drain on the battery sufficient in some cases to get very hot (on your wrist or when charging and if so stop immediately)
Be aware the discount is only available on the newer more expensive watches which don't have all the features you have now.
An Apple watch works with an iPhone but has a one day battery life so if you want a longer battery life look at Garmin or others perhaps.
