Hi all, I went swimming the other day and now my sense screen does not react to any swiping. And the battery doesn’t last a day from full charge. At the time it would not start and I had only the Fitbit logo. But after some playing around it started again. I can see the clock face and change the clock face on my iPhone app.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi @Bege  - it may have suffered water damage, check in the forums where the faces falls off.

  • But first make sure that it's not the Always On clock that is active which will exhaust the battery more quickly. Double tap the screen to wake the proper clock face and see if it accepts swiping, if not try a restart How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  •
  • Then double press the button and choose Quick Settings [3 parallel lines with dots] and make sure wrist wake [watch icon] is enabled and all the others except Brightness are disabled.

If none of that helps probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you diagnose.

Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.

If it is still under warranty and found faulty it may be better to take it to the shop for a new replacement, rather than accepting a refurbished replacement from Fitbit and dealing with sometimes drawn out return and shipping issues
