My fitbit Sense is counting steps while I sleep and when I'm sitting at my desk with some arm movement. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Welcome to the Fitbit community.
How many steps are you getting while you're sleeping? For me last night, I had steps counted 3 different times for 7, 9 and another 9. 25 steps is pretty negligible compared to the whole total. Other nights I have gotten 0 or close to it.
I sit at a desk at work for some period of time, but I also do walk around a lot as well so it's pretty much impossible for me to know how many steps I get only while seated. Again, probably negligible for me as well.

Last night I got 98 steps while sleeping. I was tossing and turning. But as I am sitting here at home I moved my arm to get adjusted and it says I went 4 steps.

Hi there, @SunsetRunner and @eezeepee.
@SunsetRunner Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Before anything else, let me explain that all our Fitbit devices including the Sense, have an algorithm designed to look for intensity and motion patterns which indicate when a person is walking or running. However, sometimes when working at a desk, cooking, or performing other activities with arm movements, your watch may try to give you credit for your efforts. To learn more about this, please see this help article.
I'm sorry for this inconvenience and let me recommend restarting your watch to refresh its performance. Make sure to wear your watch about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone and monitor its behavior in the next days.
Hope this helps.
