Sense display began staying on all the time

For no reason, my Sense display began staying on all the time even though I have "button only" selected under Display. This morning I found a completely different setting for "always on" that is NOT included under the Display choices. WHY is that shown in a completely separate area? It should be one of the choices under Display. 😞

Though I do admit it could be confusing, I believe the "always-on" choice actually is under "Display".

It would be easier to illustrate with a tree diagram, but:

"Display" has several sub-headings, including "Brightness" "Screen Wake", "Screen Timeout", "Always-on display" and "Status Indicators".

Under "Screen Wake" sub-heading are choices "Button only" and "Motion & Button".

Under "Always-on display" sub-heading is only an Off-On slider.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It makes no sense to me that you could have both “button only” and “always on” activated at the same time. One choice should override the other. Either that, or put “always on at” the top of the list — i.e., not so far down that you have to scroll to see it.

How did  you do this?

in the app or on the fitbit self?

Hi @Jessyj2023 - the settings are made in the watch Settings menus [swipe watch face to the left and select Settings].

A quicker way is to swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and select what you need there.
