Sense doubles my steps after updating my apps

I had to adjust all my applications to work with the Sense. I connected the Bluetooth and Local Network to on.  Is this the reason it doubled my steps yesterday?

iPhone fixed:

1.) I had to go to iPhone 13 setting.

2)  Go down to the Fitbit icon: Turn off Local Network Wi-Fi setting so program would not double the steps for my WW Weightwatchers application.

Thank you.

Hi there, @Susie-D.

Thanks for letting me know the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is connected. This is odd as your Sense shouldn't double your steps when having those settings turned on. To look into this, may I know if by updating your applications you mean the Fitbit app? Or do you refer to the apps installed on your Sense?

Because your post didn't mention, I'd recommend the following steps:

  1. Forget your Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your watch to refresh its performance.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Keep using your watch as you normally do and monitor its behavior.

In August I received updates from Apple for Iphone, Fibit for tracker, and WW updated their application.  I have checked setting for Iphone since some settings changed in the update.  I checked the Fiting settings to make the Blue Tooth and Wify were not turned off.   I will try your approach and keep monitoring my steps daily.  Thank you.
