Sense heart monitor will spike when watch is off

I've noticed when I take my Sense off to charge or take a shower, when I come back the heart monitor is spiking into my active minutes zones, which then totally screws up my fitness goals for the day/week. How can I get the Sense to stop doing this? Shouldn't it recognize there's no heart rate and pause?

Hi, @sman3000 , welcome to the community. I've experienced the same thing. The solution is to place your "Sense" face down on a flat surface where no reflected LED can be detected by the sensor array.
