I was unable to use the Sense to workout using heart rate function as the HR dropped during peak HR. I borrowed my friends Garmin. Sense kept moving from 120 to 160 while Garmin stable at 156 to 160.
I called Fitbit customer support and they walked me through a whole reset / update process. I think it was purely to waste my time as this did not work. I called back and finally accepted that I return it for verification testing. After 6 days called Fitbit customer support again. Yes they received but they can’t even tell me when I get feedback. In the meantime no personal device and I need to train for a May Sicily bike ride for 2 weeks. I will spend on Garmin while Fitbit fiddles with this very well known issue. I’ll try to return the Fitbit or give it to my teenage niece ( it’s literally junk).
My wife and I have been fans of Fitbit since 2015 since we liked the app features as it is super user friendly. Also, customer service was very responsive on earlier devices / not anymore.

@VincePaggy I agree with your view on supports mracle answertoall issues "factory reset" - it takes forever, and does not work for most issues. Reminds me of comupter customer service 20 years ago....
I do understand the frustraion over not having a device or a periode, but I am impressed that customer service wanted to check your device. They must have taken you seriously. I have hamy issues with Sense, but not with HR readings. It is not accurate when I run short intervals, meaning it has a delayed response when I go from slow jog to full sprint and vice verse, but within what I can accept from a wrist worn device.
You say "kept moving from 120 to 160" - for how long? And only in peak zone?
