Sense is 1 week old and screen cracked but did not drop it

I purchased my sense about a week ago and just noticed that my screen has cracked.  I did not drop it so I don't understand what happened.  Is this a known issue with the screens and is there a way to have it replaced?

A lot of posts on the cracked screen. It is a known issue. Do a search and you’ll find threads on this as well as what options may be available.
