I got my fitbit sense a few weeks ago, and something annoying happen. Everytime I take it off for a while, it thinks I'm sleeping. I had a fitbit versa 2 before, and almost never had this issue. How can I fix this? It's annoying having to manually delete those fake sleep tracks.

Hi there, @MaartenC. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Sense. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Sometimes your Sense can't detect you have taken it off and if it hasn't moved for about an hour, your Fitbit device records that you’re asleep. For more details, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?

As @Guy_ suggested, you could try turning off your Sense when you take it off to prevent this from happening. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Hi @MaartenC - if you take it off for any length of time you could use Shutdown from the watch Settings menu, that way you save battery too.
