Since ther is no solution given in the community I post my data with the floor count.

As you can see the floor count gradually rises to unpresedented high since april 2023. My average high count should be about 20 floors. No way I'm doing over 70 floors each day.

I'm not saying that this is the sole cause, but were you outside in particularly windy weather during those days?  I find my floor count skyrockets on those days.

@DramaQueenDiva I can imagine wind might have some effect, but not this much.
Going to the grocery: 15 floors. Walking at a flee-market: 16 floors. If that is the case then can't trust it anymore.

What makes me curious is that it is happening since april/may this year. Never before. Were there any updates on the fitbit Sense?

Hi @MarioDings  - there was a problematic update which immediately caused the floor count problem, so you would know that was the cause.

If you didn't apply an update the watch may have a defective sensor. Even so check the watch is clean and inspect the tiny holes, poking in them can cause damage.

As the floor count doesn't affect any other measurements it can be ignored but is annoying.

You can always try a watch restart, or even a factory reset or the SimpleFloors app which was made for an older firmware to see how the pressure sensor is working on your watch.

@Guy_ I'm having the latest version.(unfortunately)
Your SimpleFloors tells me I'm having a variety of pressure of about 10Pa up to 50Pa.

I can test it when I'm outside, but there's no telling when it happens, like today:

This 8 floors is at the end of a run/walk.

I'll try to give it a factory reset.
