Sense is not tracking my heart rate accurately

I bought a new Sense and wanted to try it to compare to my $30 Veryfitpro Fitness watch.  I also have a Polarr chest monitor that communicates with my spin bike.

the Sense is just all over the place.  It reached and stayed at 163 bpm when the VFP was 93 and the Polarr was 96.  The Sense went up and down erractically.

is there something I’m missing.  A cheap fitness optical read tracker is light years better than the Sense at the moment.

Hi @Jimceez - the results you see are common for this and later models which use a new more sensitive optical sensor that can pick up noise (from movements) as HR.

When you are not moving the results are usually good.

Other makes don't suffer the same inaccuracies.

Thanks for that info. I wish I knew this before getting the Fitbit. It’s shocking that cheap fitness watch like I was using is more accurate than the Sense.
