Hello,
I just got my fitbit sense in the mail and am unable to update it or even use it.So, I followed all the instructions plugged it in downloaded the app went through setup, sadly, I can not connect it to wifi because my apartment complex has a login portal page so I opted to do a bluetooth update. After it connects my phone says downloading 0% stays like that for 2-3 mins then switches to Looking for sense and never updates. I have re-downloaded the app, tethered my wifi to make a hotspot which it also does not connect to, restarted the fitbit to no avail. What can I do?

I'm not exactly sure what that means but I used the household wi-fi and portable wi-fi and neither worked. Basically what you are telling me is that if I have varying wi-fi, I am totally and utterly royally screwed. Well guess what, not everyone can afford the latest gadgets, I got my Sense using Qantas Frequent Flyer points as a treat, and Fitbit should be making their gadgets and apps more universally user friendly. Have you seen all the complaints in the community with regards to the app, difficulty in syncing and downloads, regardless of watch? No wonder Garmin is leading the way with Apple watches being popular with Apple fanatics regardless of how inaccurate Apple watches are. Angry that I can't use a potentially life saving device. YOU BET!
