Sense is tracking my heart rate too high

I've had this model for over a year, I've long suspected that the Heart Rate Monitor was registering my Heart Rate as substantially higher than my actual Heart rate.

The Heart Rate shown on Fitbit is usually 20 to 25 points higher than the Heart Rate taken manually by the nurse when I'm in a Dr.s Office.

This past  Sunday, I was in the ER, with considerable pain.

The Fitbit Showed my Heart Rate as 106.

At the same time, the ER Monitor was registering my Heart Rate as 77.

The FitBit was overstating my Heart Rate by over 37% (I'll admit it, I was bored out of my skull, so...I did the math)

Any suggestions on how I can get a more accurate reading?

Hi @Trakker1 - it is true the heart rate can be unreliable when moving and for a while after but at rest it should be accurate, it has to be to be able to take ECG.

If you have just arrived (with a false reading) let it calm down before comparing.

My Sense watch can read double at times while exercising, but generally at rest HR and RHR are generally correct.

It is also possible there is a variation between the masses of watches made and individual people's skin, specific movements and wearing conditions.
