Sense isn't recording any sleep

Hi, I'm new to having a Fitbit and have recently purchased the Fitbit sense. It has been good so far however it doesn't track any sleep at all, I was wondering if you had to do something before you fall asleep to tell it or whether it should just automatically sense you are sleeping and record from there? The tracker itself records my heart rate whilst I sleep but doesn't seem to recognise that I am actually asleep. I'm wearing it two fingers above my wrist bone after reading that could possibly affect it and I've been sleeping for more than three hours but no one else seems to have this issue so I'm hoping someone can help

Hi @Sarahbeth24. It's great to see a new face around.

Thanks for letting me know about your Sense and the steps tried on your own. It's odd as your watch should track your sleep activity as long as you're wearing it to bed. While you've tried adjusting your watch on your wrist, have you made sure it's not too tight or loose? Is your watch and the Fitbit app updated? Let me recommend to restart your watch to refresh its performance, wear it one more time to track your sleep and sync once you're awake to check your details in the Fitbit app.

Look forward to your comments.

Mine works correctly about once a month. I have tried everything suggested and nothing fixes it. It records but not until after midnight or 1 am. Doesn't always record oxygen saturation either. Disappointment after spending so much. I expected better.

Hi @Pjjfit. Welcome on board.

I understand where you're coming from about your Sense not recording your sleep and SpO2 details, and thanks for every step prior to posting. Because your post didn't mention, may I know if you've checked the factors that impact the sleep tracking? Also, have you checked this help article which describes some tips to receive SpO2 values? If you have, let me recommend getting in touch with our Support team so they can evaluate your watch's behavior and provide you with further assistance. Please click here to get connected with them via chat and make sure to share all the steps you've tried so far.

See you around.
