Hi @Laman52. Welcome to the Community Forums.
I'm sorry your Sense isn't tracking your bike rides correctly and thanks for your efforts while working on this matter. I understand where you're coming from and before anything else, could you confirm if the Fitbit app was opened during your activity? Also, does the same happen when tracking other GPS activities?
As you may know, the GPS connection may be affected by several environmental factors such as tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and thick cloud cover, can interfere with your watch's ability to connect to GPS satellites. If it's still taking longer to connect to GPS even after taking these factors into consideration, please remove the Sense from the Bluetooth settings, force quit the Fitbit app, restart your watch to refresh its performance, open the Fitbit app, pull down on the screen to force a manual sync and try tracking a bike ride one more time.
Hope this helps.

I'm having the same issue.
i start my bike ride by selecting it from my sense & it tracks the distance but when i look at my overall stats on the dashboard it doesn't convert to steps & appears as though nothing happened.
how should a 20 mile bike ride display?

Today My dashboard shows 1 mile after a 12 mile bike ride. Why is it not using the gps mileage/distance to show correctly

Hi @Brownlocs. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for the details provided. Before anything else, let me clarify that it's expected to not see steps when tracking non step-based activities such as bike. I'm sorry for this inconvenience and I'd encourage you to vote for this request posted in the Feature Suggestions board so it can get the attention of our development team.
On the other hand, it's odd that the distance of your activity doesn't match with the details logged in the Fitbit app. To look into this, do you recall since when this started to happen? Does the same happen with other activities? Did the GPS get lost during your activity? These details will help me to investigate on my end.

We have the same issue with my wife's Sense. For a 26 mile bike ride it only shows it as 13 miles. On the preview map in the activity list it shows a straight line between the start and around half way, then it looks like the actual route. When you go into the activity, however, it shows the full route on the map, including speed and heart rate maps with varying values along it. The heart rate and speed graphs, however, only show 1.25 hrs worth of results even though the ride was 2.5hrs long. In Strava it only shows the ride as starting from the half way point.
